The Truman Show is a beautifully crafted movie that uses interesting camera angles and leaves a moral dilemma in your thoughts. Jim Carrey shocks people with his acting as a man who is seemingly on the verge of a full paranoid breakdown. However, as the viewer, we know what is truly happening as we watch his obsessive god-like creator unethically pulling the strings that torment the adventurous truman. This film can also be used as a metaphor for people being trapped in monotonous lifestyles. This film portrays true fears of humanity but manages to keep it from being a stone cold, depressing horror/drama by lightening the tone a little showing the versatility of the movie creators and cast. There is an infinite amount of things that could be interpreted or said about this movie but the most important thing is this: watch this masterpiece.
