Well first thing is you haven’t seen Home Alone have you been living under a rock?! For those of you who, like me, think that every day of the year is a good day for watching Home Alone let’s think why. Kevin gets to live every kids dream or so he thinks… sweets for breakfast, total freedom, and the chance to prank uninvited intruders-say what!? If you think about it what Kevin goes through is pretty awful: parents leave him behind, his house being burgled by a pair of career criminals and boy is he going to be in so much trouble when his parents get back! But the house-saving-kid-versus-foolish-two-would-be-intruders climax makes it all worth while every time. The promise of the child overthrowing the thieves to protect his family’s home and save the day, makes this a film filled with love and comedy all worth while. A perfect Christmas film to watch over the holiday- as long as you’re not Home Alone. 10/5 from me!
