This movie is about a boy who finds himself in a different reality with very peculiar people with powers! I didn't like this movie that much because it was not that peculiar and it was not as scary as I hoped it would be; Barron was definitely not as intimidating as I thought he would be. I thought he would be more creepy and insane because he was a mad scientist. The hollows also weren't as scary a I thought they would be. However, I did like the way they used colours to set the scene. It was very unique how they changed the theme of colours depending on the year. For example when it was the in 1940s the colours were much my dull and basic. It was very obvious which year they were in because of the colours and peoples outfits. I was most disappointed by the acting though, there wasn't that much emotion and Jake's American accent was not the most convincing. You could tell that the actor was not American. The storyline was creepy though and you could definitely tell that it was a Tim Burton creation as it was very unique and peculiar! In conclusion, I think this movie would be best for the younger audiences.
