The film opened in a very distinct green filter that remained for the rest of the film, this really distracted me from the main plot as it was hard to focus on anything else. Naomi Watts was a convincing actor who helped make the film a more vivid ordeal. This film is a horror film and is made scary by all cleverly added sound affects and music that helped build tension and scare the viewer. However it was very cliché and most of the spine-tingling parts could be easily predicted and rarely actually made me feel scared. This film is for all ages as it is not actually that scary. The redeeming part for this film that saved it from 2 stars was Brian Cox who made a cameo appearance as an old man that killed himself in a bathtub :). Overall an alright film that I believe could be enjoyable for people that like basic horror films but do not like being jump scared.
