It sure was a movie
This is the type of movie to pull at your heart strings should yours not be more akin to steel bars. It tried and failed to make me feel. That's one more thing to the ever expanding list of "failed to make me feel."
Ernest and Celestine's dynamic was... Fine if not pretty text book for a movie that's probably an allegory for racism and how maybe we shouldn't do that. Shippers are gonna be in full force though, that's for sure.
It's the most 5/10 movie ever.
