Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse Of The Black Pearl

5 stars

02 Dec 2022

Welcome to the 2nd of December 2022 which also means its the second day of advent and the film that was chosen for today was made by my sister Katie and she chose Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse Of The Black Pearl which is the first film of five. This is what the film is about, William or Will for short is a resourceful young blacksmith who teams up with the eccentric pirate "Captain" Jack Sparrow to save his love, the Governor's daughter, Elizabeth Swann who has been mistakenly captured by the clever and treacherous Barbossa, who is the former enemy of Jack, to make a blood sacrifice so that they can end the curse that has been put upon him and his crew. Will and Jack steal a ship from the Royal Navy and arrive at Tortuga, a pirate port. There Jack meets his friend Joshamee Gibbs with a buccaneer and "able bodied" crew, sets sail to save Elizabeth and take back the Black Pearl. Meanwhile, Barbossa discovers that it is not Elizabeth's blood that is required for the sacrifice. Whose blood is it that he needs to break the curse. This film review has been given five stars which means I loved it because I found the films so good to watch again and again they are one of my favourite films that I like to sit and watch with my family or just on my own. The next film that will be chosen will be by my mum Anita so thank you for reading my review on the film which is called Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse Of The Black Pearl. My favourite character from the film was Captain Jack Sparrow because even though he is a pirate he becomes a good man in the end.
