Today is the 7th of December 2022 which also means it's the seventh day of advent which means there are only 18 days left until Christmas. The film that was chosen today was made by me and I chose to watch X-Men Days of Future Past which is all about This movie starts in the desolate future that was set in motion in 1973, when brilliant scientist Dr. Bolivar Trask who is played by Peter Dinklage who created a series of giant robots called Sentinels for the sole purpose of wiping out mutants, who he claimed were a direct threat to the human race. The Sentinels soon began eradicating humans who possessed the DNA to breed mutants, and eventually, any mortal mutant sympathizers. Desperate, Professor Xavier who is played by Sir Patrick Stewart and Magneto who is played by Sir Ian McKellen devise a plan to have Kitty Pryde who is played by Elliot Page they decide to send Wolverine back to the year when Mystique who is played by Jennifer Lawrence who goes and try to assassinated Trask. It turns out that Mystique inadvertently accelerated the Sentinel program when she was subsequently captured by Sergeant William Stryker who is played by Josh Helman who then succeeded at harvesting her DNA to make the robots more powerful than ever before. Upon arriving in the past, Wolverine quickly seeks out a much younger Charles Xavier who is played by James McAvoy as well as a young Beast aka Hank who is played by Nicholas Hoult and Quicksilver aka Peter who is played by Evan Peters and together they help break a young Magneto aka Erik who is played by Michael Fassbender who was let out of a heavily fortified prison cell hundreds of feet beneath the Pentagon. Meanwhile, with the help of Havok, Ink, Toad, and Spike, Mystique is already moving in for the kill. Although Wolverine, Beast, Charles, and Magneto manage to thwart the assassination, Charles and Magneto once again find themselves at odds after the latter attempts to alter the plan at the last moment, creating a mass panic during a post-Vietnam War peace summit in Paris. And Dr. Trask, still fuming from having had the Sentinel program rejected by Congress, takes his proposal directly to President Nixon who is played by Mark Camacho who is laying the groundwork for an even darker future than the one Wolverine was sent back to prevent. This film review has been given five stars which means I loved it but I love all of the X-Men films and when I was younger I used to watch The Animated Series of X-Men but it is not on the TV no more. My favourite character would be Mystique who can change into anyone she likes but she is a killer because of Magneto he told her to not be afraid of her powers but Charles wanted the mutants to live among us humans and not start a war between each other. Thank you for reading my seventh film review for my challenge. My next film will be chosen by my sister Katie again.
