Inkheart

5 stars

24 Dec 2022

Hello Film Club members and welcome to the last film of my new and old 24 films that I have not written a review for or seen before for my Christmas challenge. The last film was chosen by my mum and she chose a film called Inkheart which is all about A father whose name is Mortimer or Mo for short "Silvertongue" Folchart who has the special talent to bring characters out of books. However one night he accidentally brings out three characters from the book called Inkheart, a story which is set in medieval times and filled with magical beings. Capricorn who is played by Andy Serkis who also is one of the main characters. He also brought his men along with him but a man called Dustfinger who is a fire-eater also comes out of the book. Now, twelve years later, Meggie discovers the truth about her father it's now up to her to escape Capricorn's evil grasp and the shadow beast. This film review was written on the 24th of December 2022 which also means its the twenty fourth day of advent so it is finally Christmas Eve and the film that I am writing about has been given five stars which means I loved the film because I love reading different books which help me to escape the world I live in and my life. My favourite books are old puffin classics like Five Children and It, The Railway Children, A Little Princess and The Secret Garden. I have now achieved my Christmas film challenge for this year I hope you join me for next year. So Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to all of the members and Film Club because I will not be writing another film review until the new year now. So thank you for reading my last film review for this year which is the year 2022. See you in the year 2023 where I will be writing more reviews and new ones too.
