Fox and The Pigeon

5 stars

This film is about a depressed fox who lives inside a book with a hungry pigeon. The fox was quite depressed because every day he watched the ice cream truck come and go, but never had any money. Until one day, he found a lonely coin, in the park. He grabbed it and ran as fast as he could. He sprinted to the ice cream truck and got his favourite flavour of ice cream strawberry and mint. He sat down on a bench nearby until a hungry pigeon landed. The pigeon wanted some of fox's ice cream, fox thought for a moment then tried to escape. The pigeon wouldn’t let the fox exit because he wanted that ice cream and when I mean he wanted it I mean he was desperate like a lion hunting its prey. They continued their fight until they fell into a puddle, or was it a puddle? No, it wasn’t a normal puddle, it was the ocean! Pigeon had dropped the ice cream. This was fox’s chance, but he didn’t go for the ice cream, he went to help pigeon because he couldn’t swim. The story was told in rhyming poetry, the whole way thought. It was like you could open a book and it would play like a movie. I thought it was very clever because in a scene of the movie the fox and the pigeon gathered letters to make a word. The author would tell them what to do and they would do it. The story’s moral was just because your opposites doesn’t mean you can’t be friends. This movie is very well thought out and is definitely five stars! This movie shows friendship and kindness. It’s simple and easy to understand so it is perfect for a young audience. My wow words are Friendship Kindness Determination.
