Painfully perceptive Scorsese film in which Robert De Niro gives an unforgettable performance as stand-up wannabe, Rupert Pupkin.

Don't get me wrong, a Scorsese films with De Niro will never be bad and will always have good things about it. However King of Comedy was overall a good film but it's definetely to some extent overrated. I see so many people say they this is Scorseses best and although I do see your arguments, for me there simply are much more better Scorsese films. Heres a list of a 'few' Scorsese films I prefer more than King of Comedy. >Taxi Driver >Raging Bull >Goodfellas >Casino >The Departed >Wolf of Wall Street Like I said, King of Comedy is still a good film but I don't get how people can compare it and even call better than these other Scorsese films, and I haven't even listed all the Scorsese films I see as better, only the ones I see as perfect at the time of writing this review. Maybe one day I'll catch onto the King of Comedy hype train but for not, to me it's just another Scorsese film.
