This film is based on Romeo and Juliet. It had a very much opposite ending to the original one (sorry if you know what happens in the end of the original one!) The base of the story is very simple but VERY romantic. Basically the gnomes live on different gardens, red and blue. one day Juliet found a Cupid flower (so romantic) she was climbing up there to get it one night, and Gnomeo saw a girl with a black outfit on running past, the climbed up to get it (each of them) then... They fell in love! It was l by,ove at first sight (so romantic.)I cannot tell you any more or I'll spoil it for you! (Trust me it won't be that cool to watch if you can already imagine what it would be like!) Now, my favourite part, to be honest, it's a funny one. Most people won't get what I am talking about but I'll tell you now, my favourite part is...when Juliet said "umm... A squirrel dropped his ✨Nuts✨, you may not know what im talking about but I liked that personally (grown-ups won't get it!) To me though, I thought it was a very funny scene. My favourite character is Juliet, she is probably the opposite of me, but her personality does truly match mine, my least favourite character(s) were the mum of Gnomeo and the dad of Juliet, I was sad at the fact that they had to sneak out to see eachother. Personally I think this film needs a 4 star review because it's a very good but simple film.
