Scott Rudin Productions' Addams Family Values.

Scott Rudin Productions' Addams Family Values is a very clever representation to highlight the importance of being true to yourself, even if you are with people who have different beliefs and lifestyles to you. The narrative teaches viewers that they do not have to fit in and conform to societal norms, they should express themselves and not let anyone change who they are. It also reminds viewers to protect and look after the people they care about.

The parts of the narrative are set in scenery which is mainly comprised of dark colours. This represents the nature of the characters. Pathetic fallacy is used to create an atmosphere. Rain, lightning and thunder are used to set the tone and mood of the plot. The setting is vital to the storyline as the characters interact differently depending on where they are and who they are with.

The music in the film is atmospheric and suspenseful. The Addams Family music is used throughout. This creates suspense, but it is also used to provide a form of comedic relief. The music is used to create drama and set the tone for the narrative. The music is very appropriate for the scene and sometimes the characters appear to react to the music.

Scott Rudin Productions' Addams Family Values uses dark colours outside. These colours are also appropriate to the setting, who is there and the atmosphere and tone of the scene. Certain colours are associated with specific characters, giving the characters a sense of identity and being true to themselves. This further reinforces the importance of remaining true to who you are.

The characters grow and develop throughout the narrative. The way that the characters react with each other and the situation depends on where they are and who they are with. While the characters flourish in different situations, they also remain the same: they don't change who they are, just because they are with people who don't accept them this way. The characters continue to be themselves, regardless of who they are surrounded by. This is a very important lesson, that viewers should take away from the narrative.

The camera uses several different techniques to portray the movement of time. It uses a momentary pause between scenes to jump from one time to a slightly later time. This creates suspense and anticipation for what is to come. The camera also stays in one place, but the time of day changes behind it. This is an effective way of portraying the passage of time.
