An Eye for an Eye

This 6 minute mini movie follows the story of an animated pirate whose mission is to steal the lost treasure, like a stereotypical pirate he wears a big skull hat and has a patch eye. There is no talking involved at all in this movie but yet you can fully understand everything that is going on with only the grunts and groans of the characters. The music also explains the people's different moods and emotions. The colours really match the theme that the animators were going for, the wooden tavern and great big pictures framed with fancy wooden borders. This cheeky little pirate is always finding himself in the same old bar breaking a glass, getting his recruitments in the same bar, setting sail and failing each and every time. Although his recruitments die in a video game fashion he seems to respawn and come back to the tavern. This 6-minute movie is set in the 1600s though it has some modern-day references such as car noises and video game themed deaths. This must-see short animation is a real fun time movie, I really liked it because it was entertaining and very thrilling. Well, that was my review but now you should go and see it yourself. Enjoy!
