When the planet Earth is taken over by these Boovs, Gratuity somehow escapes the invade leaving her all alone with only her cat by her side. In a coincidental occurrence, Gratuity is driving to her escape, she sees a Boovs shadow and stops the car planning to trap the Boov, they meet starting their journey to find where everybody went, creating a truce between the two.
