Enjoyable, if concerning at times.

To the surprise of many, at least to me, Macaulay Culkin was in more films than home alone. Most recently, is Rich Flu which to my knowledge is about desperation and rich people getting very (fatally) sick, which (excluding the sick bit) you'd think is a contradiction. But I wouldn't know, since I haven't seen it.

But this isn't about rich people getting sick; this is about Uncle Buck. When I watched it originally, I enjoyed it and found it funny, which gave way to legitimate sincerity. There was a scene where Buck threatens the eldest kid's (Tia's) boyfriend (named Bug) with a literal hatchet; which made me uncomfortable, since I didn't see why he was being so hostile toward Bug. Sure the kid rudely made a joke about the state of his car, but that's no reason to kill a kid.
