Jungle Cruise (2021)

This was quite a underwhelming film to watch in terms of the plot and it was easy to guess where it was going. Due to this any plot twists weren't really surprising. I liked how the story was set up around a interesting legend and that the story did not really stray from that direction because of this it was enjoyable to watch as they chased the legend and any truth in it for their own reasons. The characters were interesting enough however, in my opinion some actions that Lily did seemed a bit exaggerated for the time period; they did make it a bit humorous to watch though. My favourite character to watch was Prince Joachim because of his strong Russian actions and mannerisms as well as his natural ability to make anything funny with a few words. Regarding the music it sometimes sounded a bit like a poor choice for certain scenes and was slightly out of place a bit. As a adventure film it was quite good because most of the film was spent on the adventure and it did have some cool action scenes. As a family film it is great because it is not very graphic, easy to follow and has nice moments where family can laugh along.

Overall, it was quite an average film with some good aspects to keep you watching and exactly what you would expect of a modern Disney film- not the newest idea, not the best executed but good enough to watch!
