Visually peerless example of Hollywood coming to terms with computers, in which programmer Kevin Flynn get sucked into a game.

Tron the 1982 version

1 stars

23 Mar 2025

On Tuesday the 30th of July 2024 we continued our Disney challenge with a film which is about the adventures of a video game maker who's name is Kevin Flynn who hacks into the mainframe of his former employer ENCOM, who are looking for evidence that the video game program that he wrote were stolen by the company executive and his name is Ed Dillinger. While trying to find the missing files Flynn gets beamed into the digital world by the Master Control Program which is an artificial intelligent computer that was created by Dillinger. While in there Flynn meets a security program whose name is Tron and another digital simulation program who's name is Yori who joins Flynn on a quest to defeat the MCP thus sending Flynn back home to the real world with the evidence of the stolen game programs. Will Flynn get them back or will the company get away with the programs, I recommend you watch the film to find out what happens. This film has been given a one star rating which means I found the film Disappointing as it was not my kind of Disney film that I would watch again but it was a film that we had to do for our Disney challenge because we had no choice! Thank you for reading our film review on Tron the 1982 version which also has a ride in Disneyland parks.
