Chicken run is an animated movie and would be very enjoyable for kids around 10 or 9 years old. However, the plot seemed very generic and obvious on what would happen next. The characters had very clear personalities and are your typical stock characters. There is some funny moments and animation is unique. It's all about chickens on farm being threatened to be made into pies. The main character is head-strong determined Ginger desperate to get all the chickens freed. All her plans failed and all hope seems lost until rocky a flying comes to save the day. Its a interesting plot but as I said a bit predictable and generic. However, a great film for a family to enjoy as it is funny and entertaining. Just not my favourite but can see many people liking it.
