This has good ideas, the concept of video characters having the ability to consciously walk OUT of their reality through a neutral zone in an extension lead is interesting and used well with the twist as it makes sense with the plot and characters. Though it isn't really for me, as much as a mysterious friend would want me to think. Just never reached a chord with me like other stuff have like Alan Wake II or Kubo and the Two Strings.
