This film leaves you feeling so satiated and satisfied, it's definitely worth watching. I loved how Taiki Waititi made the harsh reality of WW2 comedic; the way the lighting and cinematography subtly changes to a warmer undertone when Jojo goes against Hitler and sides with Elsa makes you feel so relieved. I love how Elsa and Jojo overcame the standards in WW2 where it was classed as wrongful for a German and Jew to be friends with each other and care for one another. Each and every one of the cast has their own personality and has certain attributes that makes their character so distinctive and entertaining. I'm evidently shown this with Yorki (Jojo's friend) who is such a down to earth, innocent character. Another element that I enjoyed was how Taiki Waititi sometimes improvised throughout the film which makes it even better as the acting is so much more natural. Overall, this film is emotional, tense and sends so much thoughtful, heart-warming messages to the audience.
