Enjoyable depiction of teenage dilemmas inspired by the hugely popular books by author Louise Rennison.

I was probably one of the only girls in my year who hadn't seen this film and had no desire to see it. I watched it at filmclub and I thought it was pretty bad. There were quite a few bits that I thought were alright and quite funny but apart from that I really didn't like it. The best actor in it was Alan Davies so all the bits with him in were good. The truth is, I think this film gives a bad name to all 13-15 year olds. It makes everyone think that we're boy obsessed and that our only aims in life are to have the perfect boyfriend and be the most popular however it may surprise you that we aren't all like that. Typical ending where everything turns out ok. Family happily together again, girl gets perfect boy and the popular girl who is really mean gets what she deserves. Would recommend this film to girly girls who are mad on boys. Jazzee :D
