This acclaimed Italian crime drama takes a frank look at the brutal, mafia-like Camorra network of Naples and the lives it impacts.

this film was a very naturalistic piece, as there was no music that played during any of the scenes. i found it interesting how at times tension wasn't built up and gun shooting scenes happened without knowing when a gun was going to be shot, which gave a sudden impact, and in my opinion was more effective. i liked the story line of a modern day mafia, as the movie progressed i like how the story split off into about five seperate story.
