Queen and Slim actors Daniel Kaluuya & Jodie Turner-Smith talk to our reporter Shanai about role models, the legacies they'd like to leave behind and and making an impact in the film industry. 

Queen & Slim tells the story of a forgettable first date that takes an unexpected turn when a police officer pulls them over for a minor traffic violation. When the situation escalates and Slim shoots the officer in self-defense, they are labelled as cop killers and are forced to go on the run. After the incident goes viral, the pair become a symbol of injustice, trauma and pain. Watch the interview above to learn more about their time on set.
