Horrible Histories: The Movie Rotten Romans follows the Romans in Britain, as they arrive and discover that the Cut-Throat Celts aren't overly pleased with being invaded.
Focusing on history curriculum topic The Roman Empire and its Impact on Britain, and including English literature and music links, students aged 7-11 will explore this significant historical period, with activities including a local history study and Romans vs. Celts class debates. Students will also create their own Horrible Histories-style song to take part in a ‘Battle of the Bands'. They could even film their song/poem as an extension activity after all, it wouldn't be Horrible Histories without an hilarious song or two!
