WHAT: Into Film is proud to present a free educational screening of Rafiki as part of the Spring Screenings: Changing Times programme. At a time of remarkable change around attitudes towards the environment, technology, politics, and identity, particularly for young people, this film will open up discussion around some of these themes, utilising the remarkable power of cinema to deepen learning as well as provoke conversation and debate. The screening will be preceded by a short compilation of archive film on the theme, special schools' edit provided by Yorkshire Film Archive.
WHEN: Wednesday 12 February, 9.30am -11.40am (the event will start promptly at 10.00am)
WHERE: Queen's Film Theatre, 20 University Square, Belfast BT7 1PA. Concessions will be open as normal, buses can stop outside the front door of the venue for drop off. Bus parking can be arranged please contact email@example.com for more info.
Certificate: 12A - BBFC. Into Film recommends this film is engaging for ages 11+.
Language: English/Swahili with English subtitles
