Synopsis

Two children – Kyona and Adriel – are separated from their parents and other siblings during their migration journey across Europe. Together they embark on a heroic journey which takes them from childhood to adolescence through a continent torn apart by war and persecution. In search of shelter and peace, retaining hope of finding their family, the courageous siblings survive incredible challenges on their journey towards a new world. Based on the director’s grandmother’s own story, this moving story of displacement is brought to life using painted animation full of vibrant colours.
