Known as an astronomy geek in her small German town, 12-year-old Ulja is convinced that an asteroid is on a collision course with Earth. When nobody believes Ulja’s declaration, and her grandmother confiscates all her astronomy equipment, she decides to take matters into her own hands by stealing a local hearse and joining forces with a local teen boy Henk, who acts as her driver. Ulja begins a road trip across Europe to visit a Polish scientist and view the asteroid with her own eyes, encountering a horde of surreal and quirky characters along the way whilst ingeniously escaping her pursuers. This German family film is a story of following your passions and creating your own path in life despite the roadblocks in your way.
