Synopsis

In this follow-up to the original hit superhero movie, there seems to be new generation of mutants eager to cause trouble with spectacular acts of destruction such as attacking the White House. But is there a secret plan at work here? And with the backlash against mutants growing all the time, will Professor Xavier be able to keep his academy open and the X-Men operating as a force for good? There's plenty of great action going on here, but the emotional entanglements of the mutants aren't forgotten amid the effects.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
