There is no film by Christopher Nolan that won't leave you thinking about it after. The Prestige is an amazing film starring Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman as two victorian magicians who started out as friends, but after the accidental death of Jackman's wife, become rivals in magic. They each try to foil the other's tricks by disguising as volunteers and coming on stage to ruin the other's act. But, Jackman has discovered a trick so amazing that he would be praised as the greatest magician in London. There are no words to describe this film. Absolutely none. This could possibly be my favourite Nolan film ever, even beating Inception. If the end of this film doesn't leave you shocked, amazed or confused, nothing will. I bought this out of impulse in CEX, and it is the best impulse buy I have ever made. This ain't no Harry Potter: This is something so beautiful, that not even Pixar could beat it. The Prestige is a magical adventure that will never leave your mind once you've watched it. 5 Stars, although I'd rather give it 10
