This visually spectacular German sci-fi classic (made, incredibly, in 1927) sees the rich live in skyscrapers and the poor toil underground.

I recently watched this old classic sci-fi film with the rest of my school’s film club, after watching there was a clear debate half the club thought the movie was great the other half though it was rubbish. Me personally I thought that this is a classic sci-fi film even though it’s a silent movie and in black and white, but it was made in the 1920’s. Although the film is very old and forgotten but it’s acting and special effects are quite good. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of sci-fi or like silent movies.
