this fascinating animal film is about a zebra which was once abandoned on a stormy night by a travelling circus and when a local farmer finds him he is taken back to meet the other farmyard residents. Tuker the old Shetland pony, Franny the wise goat, lightning the dozy hound, reggie the bird-brained rooster and a deranged big-city pelican called goose, who quickly becomes close freinds. As stripes grows up he dreams of becoming a race-horse, and to take on the thoroughbred race-horses next door. with the help of his friends his dream becomes a reality, and stripes is entered into the biggest race event of the year. can stripes prove himself and will he be able to earn his racing stripes. I would definitely recommend this film for people who love animals. for that reason I would give this film a 4 out of 5 stars.
