I loved this film as it encorporates a stupendous, enchanting portrayal of the bredth, wildness and magnificence of a childs mind and a childs imagination. I truly and very strongly believe that a young person that is amplied and dedicated can make anything happen and achieve anything they put their mind to whether using their imagination or living in the blunt, real world. Imagination is a great tool for coping with the stresses of real life and a great eternity to disapear into as long as one doesn't take it too far or become obssesed with fantasy and illusions. I very much admire and revere the human brain and what one's imagination can conjure up. The death in this film is quite shocking and devastating to the audience and main male character. Through a clever plot line, good acting and great film work we are able to empathise with him and even shed a tear to the loss of the girl. However sad it realy does touch on a difficult subject that adults, let alone children find hard to come to terms with. As hard as the character in this film and people in the real world try to ignore death, brush over the subject and hide their true fellings we must learn to except death and live with the hurt and sadness. No body really gets over a death but it is unavoidable and so we must do our best to support one another and carry on. The end of this film is as magical as a human's imagination and always makes me smile. There is always happiness and magic to be found even in the darkest, hardest part of one's life and so we must carry on, be brave and hope that friends will lend a supportive hand. For the sadest time of one's life, the happiest is waiting somewhere and we must move on and pass on fairytales, myths, legends and MAGIC!!! Thank you for reading, Marileo :)
