Firstly, I found parts of it funny, parts of it sad, parts of it educational, (kinda) and parts of it just plan old mad. Timothy, who was killed by a bear, said he would never kill a bear even in self defence with is ironic seems as the bear that killed him was shot dead not long after discovery of Timothy death. I find it inspiring how he was an alcoholic and then all of a sudden he wasn't. But then became kinda crazy and went to live with the bears. The way he just casuly lived with them, like they where his family, he may have thought they where his family in some sort of way. But. When the foxes stole his hat everyone in may filmclub group could hardly stop laughing including me. I am a big fan of bears myself, but not as much as Timothy. I could never do something like that, in fact I don't blame his girlfriend for being scared of them, if she wasn't, then I would of been scared. I gave the film a four because I enjoyed it, I thought it was really good, but it just wasn't the best. Documentary's aren't normally my favourite type of film but to me, this didn't seem like a documentary, it seemed more like a perfectly cliché film that was enjoyable. The reason I think its perfectly cliché is, that he was an alcoholic, and then he found out that bears where beautiful and amazing creatures and that they are the cure for his alcohol problem. They where of course, but then he said he would never kill one even in self defence but then he got killed by one, him and his girlfriend.
