Big, more serious Tarzan for the 1980s, starting with the story of how a British child ended up being raised by apes.

4 stars

I gave this film 4 stars, because it was a great film but I like adventure films so it wasn't my type of film. My favourite characters was an elephant they met and a little monkey with spiky hair but I forgot his name. This film is about a baby who is trapped in this dark, damp wooden type of house on a tree one gorilla finds him and names him Tarzan. Tarzan is very happy with his home and he is always up for a challenge but there is a leopard that dosen't like him and he tries to kill Tarzan. One day Tarzan meets these people, who is researching on gorilla's they meet Tarzan and find out he dosen't speak English. The people, Jane, her dad and Mr Claton who is trying to protect them but is actually evil, tries to teach them English so he can help them find the gorilla's. Tarzan has to make a chice and he chose... I think that this film is suitable for 5 and up. The funniest bit that I thought was when Tarzan meets Jane and he lets go of her while a flock of angry monkeys come towards her and first she says put me down and then pick me up.
