Hook is an entertaining family adventure film about a man called Peter Pan and his archenemy Captain Hook.

At the beginning of the film, Peter’s children are kidnapped by Captain Hook and taken to Neverland. Captain Hook leaves a kidnap note on the children’s bedroom door which Peter Pan reads. Then suddenly, Tinker Bell magically appears at the window ledge and sprinkles magic dust over Peter which enables him to fly to search for his children in Neverland. But can Peter Pan defeat Captain Hook by himself? Or does he need the help of the Lost Boys?

In the film, there is a range of good and bad characters. Hook is an evil, selfish kidnapper but Peter is a clever, adventurous hero. Together their personalities make this an action packed movie!

My favourite scene was when the Lost Boys had a food fight. I enjoyed this scene because it was funny and messy.

I would recommend this film for children age five to adult.
