I thought this film was very interesting. The effects were very good; I certainly wouldn't have guessed it was made in 1998, and the idea was excellent, playing on the basic human doubts of "who am I", and "is this real", but I thought it was overly surreal, over directed and over acted. Some of the key points weren't fully explained. I thought it dragged on at the start and throughout the middle, but even the ending was a bit of an anti-climax, where the tension fel flat. I think that it is a movie that would appeal to special effect junkies, but the acting let it down from a sci-fi point of view. All in all, I think it's the sci-fi equivalent of a Jennifer Anniston movie - the potential to be good, but let down by the slightly irritating storyline & actors.
