The Cave of the Yellow Dog is a fantastic tale set in Mongolia this film as well as being extremely good it is also educational for you see what it may be like to live in Mongolia, this family is always on the move so their herds can always get the best pick of grass so as a result their house is made out of wood which can be brought down and set up again.

As Nansla comes home from her school holidays she finds a little dog in a cave which she names Zoroch (spot) but her father will not tolerate the dog seeing as it was from a cave so Nansla attempts and fails to keep him a secret but as they are about to move on will Zoroch manage to move with them...
