Blue Valentine(2010)
A raw, bittersweet drama of two people falling out of love just as powerfully as they fell into it.

The film is about a failing marriage between Dean (Ryan gosling) and Cindy (Michelle Williams). This film uses snippets of their lives in nonchronological order. Although this film is in the romantic genre it is not that romantic but more the opposite as it does not sugar coat the relationship but rather shows the worst parts of it. While this bad relationship is going on there daughter has to watch but she does not grasp that it is a failing relationship. The acting in this film is good but I could not help but get annoyed at ryan goslings hair when he was older. The sex scenes were unnecessary and did not add anything to the story and they were just awkward to watch. I would recommend this film to people who like watching depressing films with a bit of romance. I personally did not enjoy the film as I thought it didn’t have enough story.
