I was very excited to go and see Monsters University as I thought it was going to be an amazing film, but then once I sat down, grabbed the Pop Corn and started to watch the film, it was slightly not so amazing. In fact it is not one of them films you would want to see over and over again, but I guess that is what you get when you make a sequel for a film.

Starting off the film, opened with a basic outline of what happened before showing the characters, in the film visiting Monsters inc, basically showing the characters as young kids. Moving through the story, the kids became adults and they started University. Mike, is basically your typical nerd, with braces, not saying everyone with braces is a nerd just in films like this that is how it is normally represented. Mike is always revising and is always asking answering the questions and acts really like a know it all. Sully or Sullivan as his proper name is, acts all cool, not revising but the difference between them is that Sullivan is scary, and mike is not.

Throughout the film this was shown and everything just was getting to the point where everything was going to be a little predictable. Even the ending was even more predictable. I kept saying things in my head that were going to happen, every single one of them was the correct thought and answer.

I just thought this film was very bland and needed something really that was going to entertain me. There were some bits in the film that I was enjoying but as I said some, and when I say some in this case, I mean very little. The amount of times in which I wanted to walk out of the cinema during this film was too many, as it just for me, was not my style of film.

Although, I want to give credit to all the people who actually designed and made this film, the story line was not the best, but all the Characters designed were just mind blowing. I have seen how they made this film, on TV, the time and effort was amazing, just the story line let it down a little.

Overall I did not like this film, it did have some good areas, the design of everything in the film was amazing, again the storyline was not the best. I would recommend this film to someone who like cartoons and very predictable ones at that. It was not the right film for me, I believe there will be many people that will like it.
