This movie was not in English, it was subtitled and all actors and actress spoke Iranian. This film was nominated for an Oscar in 1998. The film is about two children (Ali and Zahra) who live in a poor area, who loose a pair of shoes and the film follows them as they try to find the shoes. My favourite part of the movie was when Ali and his father were looking for work and found some gardening work in a rich part of the city. They met a very kind and generous old man. The part I didn't like was when the shoe fell in the gutter. I recommend this for all families. Thank you for reading my review.
