I feel I was like Max compared to how I was in the past, but not exactly to be precise. I cried at a sad scene in the film, it was emotional for me and I couldn’t hold back my tears. I used to be aggressive like Max, wanting attention from one friend in secondary school, I totally regretted that when I remembered it. I loved how the Wild Things were friendly to Max before it turned upside down near the end, their personalities brightened up the atmosphere between them. It was upsetting and made me want to regret my past.
