Superman IV: The Quest for Peace(1987)
Not as satisfying as the previous films but worth a look, mainly because it features the return of Gene Hackman as criminal mastermind Lex Luthor.

In a nutshell this film was one word. Rubbish. From the daft plot, dodgy stock footage from the previous films, poor acting, shoddy special effects and the supervillian with a weakness so obvious the producers might as well stuck a giant arrow over his head saying I AM WEAK TO DARKNESS. Seriously whoever wrote this story for this film hadn't a clue what they were doing, In fact they probably making it up as they went along. I was cringing at every scene.
This film doesn't even deserve one star, -5 would be far more appropriate.
