One of the most outstanding movies of it's time, Jason and the Argonauts is a fantasy movie based on Greek mythology. The characters are remarkably portrayed. Most of them i've never heard of but found them interesting. The story is a bit hard to follow but nothing stops the movie from becoming a classic, as it relies heavily on spectacular special effects that outdos most fantasy movies of its time. The special effects are unique and unreal. The costume design and cinematography is perfect. Everything adds up to Jason and the Argonauts becoming a huge hit and well remembered movie for many decades to come. It completely lacks disappointment. It's a marvellous depiction of Greek mythology.
