Today I went to the cinema with my film club to watch this film as part of the National film festival. The box trolls is a stop motion animation by Laika which I would really recommend to kids under 13.

It is about a young boy who was "taken" by The Box Trolls, a supposedly evil group of trolls in boxes. After the incident, the Mayor of Cheesebridge (Which is the best name for a town ever) decides to hire an exterminator to destroy every Box Troll in Cheesebridge, in return for a coveted white hat. The exterminator slowly starts to capture every Box Troll, on their quest to discover unwanted human waste that they can turn into amazing things and contraptions. As the exterminator reduces the box trolls in number, the young boy, Eggs, decides to fight back against the gang of people trying to wipe out every box troll. This leads to all of the box trolls getting captured in the exterminator's lair. Well I, really can't say any more otherwise I would ruin the film for you!

I absolutely love this film, I think it is hilarious, the animation is absolutely amazing, the film had me drawn in all the time. I expected it to have the same ending as most other animations, but I was sorley wrong. The whole storyline was made very well and I felt like I was there.

I am really glad that our film club decide to take us out to see an amazing film.

A definite 5 stars all day long!!!!!!
