Member review

A French film about a young man who gets thrown into a deadly game of murder and gambling. It's quite a short film but it's intense, very intense. This is particularly noticeable with the lack of music during the game and the lingering close-ups of the light bulb which leave the audience waiting with baited breath for what will transpire. I would have liked to know a bit more about the protagonist as a character, and some moments were a little predictable, but I enjoyed the film and would definitely recommend it, especially for those who enjoy world cinema.
