Ferris belles day off is a movie from 1986. I said that back to the future was my favourite 80s fil but this film has to take the cake and the plate the cake sits on. I am a very picky person when it comes to films, mabye because I have seen some really rubbish films, and when I hate something I will hate it until I get sick from to much hating. But when I love a film however, I will love the heck out of that film. I will watch it again and again and again until I can quote most scenes I see while re watching the film. It has a very good plot which I havnt seen in any movies before which opened a whole new world of 1980s movies. Basically what happens in the film is. Ferris is a high school student who is about to graduate. But he thinks to himself "it's a lovely day and I am not European I do not plan on being European and I don't care about European socialisms, I don't belive in a Isim, to quote John Lennon. I do not believe in the beetles I believe in me" that is a quote from the start of the movie. It seems like a really silly film but it has some great quotes in it. So he pretends to be sick so he gets the day off school. He calls up his buddy Cameron who I actually sick and tells him to get over to his house so they can go out. When ferris calls up Cameron they have a conversation over the phone about that cameron is sick and ferris should go to school. Ferris hangs up and cameron says. "I'm dying" then the phone rings and Cameron answers it and it is ferris and ferris says "your not dying now come on over and pick me up" this the. Sparked a fan theory called ferris who. Because every thing goes right for ferris and his life is great. Cameron however, his life isnt so great. His family life isn't very good and he doesn't have a girlfriend and he is shy. The fans think that ferris is Cameron's altar ego who he imagines. They also think Cameron has skitzophrenia and made a alternate personality called ferris bular. ( I said at the start that when I loved a film I loved the heck out of it). The whole movie went on with a bad guy called Mr ed Rooney who is the president of student body at ferris school. He knows ferris isn't really sick and wants to catch him.

I would recommend this film to every one I talk to about films. Mathew Brodricks performance in the film was great but inspector gadget ruined his career.
