Finding Nemo is totally radical dude, as Crush the turtle would say!

This family favourite is an action packed, adventure-comedy animation. It is about a clown fish called Nemo who loses his Mother and all of his siblings to a barracuda. He is only left with his over protective Dad (Marlin) who doesn’t let him have any freedom or fun. One day Nemo wants to prove to his Dad that he can look after himself, so he swims away from the reef and doesn’t listen to his Dad shouting for him to come back. Just as Nemo was starting to feel freedom for once, he was captured by a scuba diver who took him to live in a fish tank in Sydney. Can Nemo’s Dad rescue him? Will this teach either of them a life lesson?

Along the way Marlin and Nemo both meet some new friends and companions who help them to realise their mistakes. Marlin meets Dory who brings humour to the film. She is a blue tang fish with, let me think…oh yes…erm…what’s it called…errr…short term memory loss! Despite this, Dory is a helpful, friendly and kind hearted heroine who helps save the day.

Penultimately, I give this film 5 stars because it teaches you such a good lesson about never giving up; “keep on swimming, keep on swimming”.

And finally, always remember…fish are friends not food!
