Well... Chappie was not good nor was it bad, its kind of in the middle. Some aspects of the movie were fantastic such as having a partially interesting story that didn't bore me within the first five minutes and also having a pretty appealing cast of actors/actresses starring in the film like Hugh Jackman and Dev Patel. On the other hand however i couldn't take Yoland Visser and Watkin Tudor Jones's acting seriously. Whoever came up with the idea to cast them both as two of the movies main characters should seriously never be alowed to cast again as they made a very big mistake in my opinion, they cannot act to save themselves !. Now down to the story. Overall the story was quite intersting and grabbed my attention fairy quickly, Robotic police force ? AWESOME. Although i did find myself forgetting all about the police force at certain moments which is unfortunte because it could have been a pretty cool story in itself, but thrilling scenes such as watching Chappie learn to paint and play with children toys made up for that 100% :/. I was also surprised at how i actually felt sad watching a completely fake CGI robot get abused of off some street thugs, crazy stuff . Id recommend this movie if you are with your friends and have absolutley nothing else to watch, otherwise just skip it !.
