Harold and Maude is one of the single best films I have ever seen. I come away now with both tears in my eyes, and a warm fuzziness of happiness. This film explores what truly living life to the full really entails; the people you meet, the memories gained and the fun had. Both the character of Harold and of Maude present happiness across a wide age gap one never stopping whilst the other is only beginning. Bud Cort and Ruth Gordon play outstanding roles working together to present a whole character of a happy and life fulfilling person. Unfortunately I believe any mention of the plot in this film is a spoiler and must be watched to truly appreciate and enjoy a creation of quite simply genius. I highly recommend this film to anyone and give a full 10/10 5 star rating with distinction.
