I gave this film 5/5 because personally, this is favourite film! There's just so much drama and emotion! It's filled with intensity and mystery. Susie Salmon (Saoirse Ronan) is your average fourteen year old girl living in suburban 1970's Pennsylvania, until she is murdered by one of her neighbours; Mr. Harvey (Stanley Tucci), a guy who seems to a typical man who enjoys the outdoors (...and also looks really creepy). The murder happens quite early on in the film which is quite a surprise, you expect the rest of the film to revolve round the family and them moving on, and whether Mr. harvey can live with himself after what he's done, but, we see more of Susie! The story shows Susie in her 'heaven', as her family slowly begin to drift away from her. She never accepts freedom until the nearer end of the film, she lets go in possibly the most beautiful way possible.
